Hi, I’m Joyce.

I came to Canada as a caregiver when I was 26 years old. Like many people, I thought moving to Canada would improve my skin. Instead, the opposite happened. The cold weather, dry air, and different environment left me struggling with itchy skin, dryness, and frequent breakouts. I tried countless skincare products and popular brands, but nothing seemed to work for me.

As time went on, my family joined me in Canada. Unfortunately, I began noticing that my children were experiencing similar skin concerns. Seeing them struggle inspired me to find a better solution for our family.

I started researching natural skincare, watching educational videos, reading books, following blogs, attending workshops, and learning everything I could about soap making and herbal skincare. One day, while visiting a local farmers’ market, I met makers selling handmade soaps and herbal salves. That experience inspired me to create my own products for my family. I thought, “If they can do it, maybe I can too.”

What started as a personal project quickly became a passion. I spent months experimenting with different formulations and handcrafted hundreds of bars of soap until I found recipes that worked well for our skin. I also began creating herbal salves using carefully selected botanical ingredients to complement our skincare routine.

After about six months, I started sharing my products with friends, family, local markets, and community events. Through referrals and word of mouth, I discovered that many others were dealing with the same skin sensitivities and were looking for gentle, handcrafted alternatives.

Today, Joyce Glow Era was created from that journey. My goal is to provide thoughtfully handcrafted products made with care, quality ingredients, and attention to detail for individuals and families who appreciate simple and gentle skincare.

While many customers enjoy using our products, I do not claim that they diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Our products are not evaluated by Health Canada or the FDA and are intended for cosmetic use only.
